Overview

 

Redshift is building a reputation driven, data-led recruitment business delivering best in class talent into the deep tech and cyber security sectors.

 

We work with founders, technical leaders, and high growth organisations that expect a recruitment partner to brings clarity, market intelligence, and a structured hiring plan to the table.

 

We are looking for 360 recruiters who thrive in delivering the top 1% into complex technical environments. We want people who communicate with authority and want to work as strategic advisors, not order takers.

 

We are seeking mature and orderly people who understand the nuance of deep tech and the cyber security markets. We want those with natural entrepreneurial flair who enjoy working shoulder to shoulder with customers at a strategic level rather than copy/pasting job specs and trawling job boards.

 

We are looking for authentic brand ambassadors and stand-alone Divisional Directors to build our collective future.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

Client Development

  • Build and manage relationships with founders, CTOs, CISOs, and senior hiring leaders.

  • Diagnose hiring challenges using structured questioning and market insight.

  • Shape role definitions, hiring strategies, and employer narratives that attract high calibre talent.

  • Manage the full client lifecycle from outreach and qualification through to delivery and long term account development.

 

Search and Engagement

  • Conduct targeted, research driven sourcing across niche technical domains such as AI and ML, distributed systems, cloud security, offensive security, and cryptography using IADR methodology (Identify, Assess, Develop, Recruit).

  • Assess technical and behavioural fits through structured conversations and evidence-based evaluation.

 

Market Intelligence

  • Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies, threat landscapes, and talent trends.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives.

  • Contribute to Redshift’s reputation through insight led content and market commentary.

You will run end to end recruitment cycles with precision and pace, build repeatable systems that improve delivery quality and maintain accurate and structured data across our CRM and workflow tools.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience recruiting in cyber security, deep tech, or similarly complex technical markets.

  • Ability to engage confidently with highly technical stakeholders.

  • Curiosity and appetite for continuous learning in emerging technologies.

  • Proven success in a 360 role covering business development, delivery, and account growth.

  • Strong questioning, diagnostic, and consultative skills.

  • Ability to challenge assumptions and guide clients toward better hiring decisions.

  • Skilled at crafting role pitches, outreach messages, and effective opportunity marketing content.

  • Highly organised, detail driven, and accountable.

  • Exceptional care for quality and building long-term relationships.
